Latham & Watkins Advises Hg on its Strategic Investment in LucaNet

Cross-border multidisciplinary team represented leading software and services investor.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Hg, a leading software and services investor, on its strategic investment in LucaNet AG (LucaNet), an experienced German-headquartered financial consolidation and planning software business. Hg will invest a majority stake in the business alongside the current majority shareholders – Rolf-Jürgen Moll, Oliver Schmitz, and Dominik Duchon – who will maintain a substantial minority share and are eager to support the company in its next phase of growth. Terms of the transaction are not disclosed and closing is subject to customary regulatory approval.
