Mr. Mohebbi maintains an active pro bono practice, handling community impact litigation, primarily involving juvenile justice issues, including before the US Supreme Court. He led a high-profile criminal appeal regarding the legality of applying common police interrogation tactics under Miranda v. Arizona to children, which prompted a sea change in legislation mandating minor children are provided counsel in custodial interrogations.
