John Jameson retired from the partnership in March 2021. He was a partner in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins practicing commercial law, with extensive experience in a broad array of commercial finance transactions, including numerous types of loan transactions and structured finance transactions.
Mr. Jameson is the former Chair of the Global Opinions and Confirmations Committee. He has represented institutional lenders, borrowers, equity sponsors, and others in the following types of matters:
- Leveraged financings
- Acquisition financings
- Working capital financings
- Asset-based loans
- Commercial paper programs
- Out-of-court debt restructurings
- UCC foreclosures
