Julie Crisp, a partner in Latham’s Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice, has been named by the Los Angeles Business Journal among its 2024 Women of Influence: Attorneys, in recognition of “exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.”

Crisp’s published profile in the Los Angeles Business Journal highlights her role as a trusted advisor to private equity funds, public and private companies, and executives on the full spectrum of benefits and compensation matters that can shape market-changing transactions, including M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, and other corporate transactions. She also advises on compliance with ERISA and applicable tax and securities laws, as well as compensation disclosures for proxy statements and other public filings.

Beyond her commercial practice, Crisp prioritizes giving back to the community, particularly through initiatives that support equity and inclusion within the legal profession. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) Foundation for Law Career Research and Education, as well as a member of Leaders Network Advisory Council for the Ron Brown Scholar Program, a college scholarship and leadership program for African American students.
