Latham Advises DraftWise in US$20 Million Series A

A New York team represents the artificial intelligence tool which aids transactional law.
Legal technology startup DraftWise, which offers an artificial intelligence-powered contracts tool for lawyers, has announced it raised US$20 million in a Series A round led by venture capital firm Index Ventures. Existing backers Y Combinator and Earlybird Digital East Ventures also participated in the round.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented DraftWise in the funding with a corporate deal team led by New York partner Peyton Worley, with associates Ed Grigoryan and Daphne Lambadariou.
