Latham & Watkins Advises Bridgepoint Europe on Investment in PEI Group

December 20, 2023
Cross-practice team counsels on investment to fund the next stage of growth for PEI Group.

Latham & Watkins has advised Bridgepoint Europe on its investment in PEI Group, a leading international provider of information, insights and events for the global alternative private assets market. Following five years of support from Bridgepoint Development Capital, Bridgepoint’s small mid cap fund, PEI has grown substantially in the period, tripling revenue and quadrupling EBITDA, to a scale where it can now attract further funding from Bridgepoint’s larger buyout fund, Bridgepoint Europe VII.

The new investment is being committed alongside a meaningful reinvestment from existing investors, management and Bridgepoint Development Capital and will fund both organic and acquisitive growth of the business.

The transaction closes in January 2024.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partners Paul Dolman and Farah O’Brien, with associates James Richards, Matthew O’Connor, Oscar Phillipson, Noreen Hesse, and Catherine Fellows.
