Latham Advises on Apollo Therapeutics’ US$226.5 Million Series C Financing

Cross-border team represents lead investor on financing of portfolio biopharmaceutical company.
Latham & Watkins has advised Patient Square Capital (Patient Square) as lead investor on the US$226.5 million Series C financing round of Apollo Therapeutics, a portfolio biopharmaceutical company focused on translating fundamental medical research into medicines through a hub-and-spoke approach.
The round was led by Patient Square, with participation from existing investor Rock Springs Capital and new investors, including M&G plc.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Robbie McLaren, with Chicago partner Ian Bushner, Silicon Valley partner Josh Dubofsky, and London associates Samantha Peacock and Róisín Mbonu. Advice was also provided on tax matters by London partner Kendall Burnett, with associate Catherine Hill.
