Latham & Watkins Advises on Financing to Support KKR’s Completed US$975 Million Acquisition of S&P Global’s Engineering Solutions Business

Latham & Watkins represented the lenders providing senior secured facilities the proceeds of which were used to finance KKR’s acquisition of the Engineering Solutions business of S&P Global for a cash purchase price of approximately US$975 million. The acquisition closed on May 2, 2023.
Partners Michael Benjamin, Paul Bonewitz, Nicole Fanjul, and Alfred Xue led the Latham team that advised on the financing, with associates Michael Waldman, Andrea Olaya Gomez, Michela Mancini, and Tulika Sinha.
