Latham & Watkins Advises on Italmatch Chemicals’ €690 Million Bond Offering

Cross-border team represents leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals on significant notes issuance.

Latham & Watkins has advised Italmatch Chemicals S.p.A. – a portfolio company of Bain Capital and leader in the manufacturing of specialty chemicals – on its issuance of senior secured fixed and floating rate notes due February 2028, for an aggregate principal amount of €690 million. The notes have been listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and admitted to trading on the Euro MTF market thereof. In connection with the issuance, Italmatch’s existing noteholders were offered the option to exchange their outstanding senior secured notes for newly issued notes on a cashless basis, which settled at closing of the bond offering.
