Latham Again Named Europe M&A Advisor of the Year at the TMT Awards

TMT Finance, a specialist news and business intelligence firm, awarded Latham & Watkins “Europe TMT M&A Legal Adviser of the Year – Volume” and recognized a transaction on which Latham had advised as “Digital Infrastructure Deal of the Year – Middle East & Africa” at the TMT M&A Awards 2022. The annual TMT Awards recognize the biggest deals and dealmakers in M&A, investment, and finance in the telecoms, media, and technology (TMT) sectors and are judged by a highly experienced panel of TMT, finance, and advisory professionals.

Latham earned recognition for advising Digital Realty on its acquisition of a majority stake in South African datacentre operator Teraco from a consortium of investors, including Berkshire Partners and Permira, in a transaction valued at US$3.5 billion.
