Latham Advises Searchlight Capital Partners on Its Minority Stake Investment in Synergy Marine Group

Cross-border multi-disciplinary team advises the private equity firm on the investment alongside founder Captain Rajesh Unni.

Latham & Watkins has advised Searchlight Capital Partners, a transatlantic private investment firm, on its minority investment in Synergy Marine Group, a leading global ship manager and provider of end-to-end maritime solutions that is headquartered in Singapore and operates through a global network of over 25 offices across 13 countries. 

This strategic partnership alongside founder Captain Rajesh Unni aims to further create incremental value for Synergy’s clients and contribute towards the continued development of the global maritime ecosystem through applying Searchlight’s strong track record of rigorous transformation and operational excellence execution to a market leading platform and stand-out competitor in the shipping industry.
