Latham Honored as 2020 Champion for Children

Latham & Watkins has been named a 2020 Champion for Children by Children’s Law Center (CLC). This record-making win marks the firm’s fourth consecutive and sixth overall win, preserving Latham’s status as the most awarded firm in Champions for Children history.

The annual award recognizes the philanthropy of law firms and corporations whose total annual giving to CLC exceeded that of their peers. The Champions for Children Campaign is led by the CLC’s Board of Advisors as well as its Board of Directors, on which Latham partner Manu Gayatrinath sits.

CLC would not be able to help more than 5,000 D.C. kids every year without the support of outstanding firms like Latham.”

CLC is Washington, D.C.’s largest nonprofit legal services provider. CLC fights so every DC child can grow up with a stable family, good health and a quality education. Today, the organization reaches one out of every nine children in DC’s poorest neighborhoods — more than 5,000 children and families each year.
