The publication cited peer firms who agreed, Latham is ‘number one antitrust practice’ in the state.

Leading antitrust publication Global Competition Review (GCR) has once again named the Latham & Watkins Global Antitrust & Competition Practice as Elite in California. Since 2009, GCR has undertaken periodic, in-depth research of the California competition bar and in every report has ranked Latham in the Elite category.

In their coverage, GCR writes, “Latham & Watkins is the ‘number one antitrust practice in California’ according to its rivals, which see its highly acclaimed lawyers everywhere.” The publication recognized Latham’s unique global platform, which enables the practice to seamlessly offer clients the complete spectrum of competition capabilities, noting: “the firm’s Californian antitrust powerhouse, backed by outstanding colleagues in Europe and Washington, D.C., is fully diversified in deals, investigations and litigation.”

The report quotes several competitors who lauded the contributions of partners Niall Lynch, Al Pfeiffer, Daniel Wall, and practice co-chair Christopher Yates. GCR also highlighted Latham’s “tier of younger lawyers who are already well respected by the antitrust bar, including new partners Andrew Gass, Christopher Campbell, and Kirsten Ferguson, as well as Who’s Who Legal Future Leaders Belinda Lee and Sadik Huseny.”
