Ron W. Hanson retired from the partnership in November 2012. Mr. Hanson founded the Chicago office’s highly regarded insolvency and creditors’ rights practice. He had more than 37 years’ experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring, creditors’ rights, defense of fraudulent conveyance and lender liability claims, and buying and selling distressed companies. Mr. Hanson also had extensive experience with the use of UCC Article 9 enforcement rights, litigating lender liability, valuation, and fraudulent conveyance cases, sales pursuant to Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, and lender acquisition and ownership of businesses pledged as collateral to realize on the going concern value of collateral.
