Dr. Joachim von Falkenhausen retired from the partnership in December 2013. He advised German and international clients in corporate and securities matters as well as in complex M&A transactions for many years. He was an important member of the firm’s Corporate Department since Latham merged with the German law firm Schön Nolte in 2001.
He was a recommended lawyer for M&A and corporate law by JUVE 2013/2014 and Chambers Europe 2013. In JUVE 2011/2012 he was described as a "confident, strong negotiator, even in difficult negotiations with international elements."
Dr. von Falkenhausen is co-author of Münchener Handbuch des Gesellschaftsrechts (standard textbook on corporate law) and at the time of retirement, regularly published articles in various law journals.
