Latham & Watkins Named Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year

Jim Beaubien is of counsel in the Century City office of Latham & Watkins, where he has practiced since 1991. Mr. Beaubien formerly served as Office Managing Partner, as well as Chair of the Corporate Department, in the Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and public companies.
Mr. Beaubien represents strategic and financial buyers and sellers in public and private transactions. He also advises clients on corporate governance, takeover defense planning, and securities laws. Mr. Beaubien’s practice spans a variety of industries, and includes extensive experience in consumer products, media and entertainment, health care, and real estate. His clients include Live Nation, Cerner Corporation, DaVita, Anivive Lifesciences, Mattel, Health Net, Crown Resorts, Farmer Bros., Kilroy Realty, and Moelis & Co.
