Claudia Heins

Claudia Heins retired from the partnership in December 2018. She was a partner in the Munich office and head of its employment practice.

Ms. Heins advised German and international corporations on employment law matters, in particular in connection with restructurings, including the adaptation of staffing levels and the negotiation of redundancy plans, as well as on other works council co-determination matters. She also rendered employment advice in connection with private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Another focus of her practice has been data protection as well as compliance rules. She also advised on pay structures and on the establishing and termination of employment and service relations.

At the time of her retirement, Ms. Heins was a regular speaker on conferences regarding employment law topics. She was a certified employment lawyer and regularly “recommended” for Employment Law (JUVE 2016/2017). In Chambers Europe Germany 2015, she was recognized as a “key individual” for Employment Law.
