San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program Honors Firm

The San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP) has recognized Latham with its “Outstanding Law Firm” award for our San Diego office’s pro bono efforts. Over the last year, lawyers at our San Diego office volunteered hundreds of hours on such SDVLP projects as domestic violence and guardianship clinics, protecting educational rights of low-income students, taking on cases through their microbusiness and nonprofit support program, and helping immigrant children obtain Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

“We’ve had the great privilege of partnering with SDVLP for a number of years,” said Jessica England, a Litigation & Trial associate in our San Diego office who accepted the award on Latham’s behalf. “We are honored to receive this award, and admire the organization’s dedication to securing justice for all in the community.”
